Tell the Nova Scotia government to protect the Ingram River watershed

Dear Dusan,

The Ingram River watershed needs your help! A public consultation is currently underway by the Nova Scotia government, but the option for establishing a protected wilderness area for these very special lands is NOT even mentioned. That’s a big problem.

The Ingram River watershed, near St. Margaret’s Bay, is home to pockets of old forest and a significant network of waterways. It’s also an important area for traditional uses and outdoor recreation. The local community has been working for years to protect these valuable public lands, but they have been consistently overlooked by decision-makers. No more.

Please take a few moments to tell the Nova Scotia government that you want a large protected area established for the Ingram River watershed. It will only take a few moments, but it will help boost the campaign to protect these very important lands.

Thank you,

Caitlin Grady
